Deep Ground Massage + Bodywork will be open only if permitted through state and local directives to ensure the safety and wellness of the community. We will be adhering to all state and local regulations, and may discontinue practice due to changes implemented by the state and local leaders.

To ensure safety, Deep Ground Massage + Bodywork will implement the following protocols:
- See fewer clients to maximize social-distancing and leaving more time in between clients.
- Recommend any client in a higher-risk category (age, heart and circulatory conditions, respiratory conditions, immunocompromised conditions), or clients who are in high-contact professions to refrain from scheduling at this time.
- Implement a policy to refuse service to clients with a fever or cold/flu-like symptoms. This policy is to protect the health and safety of the provider and all clients. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please stay home and reschedule your appointment.
- Screen clients for COVID-19 symptoms prior to each session.
- Remove items that cannot be disinfected properly from treatment room (table warmers, foam padding on tables, room furniture, etc).
- Practitioner will don new PPE (gloves, mask, goggles/face shield) and a clean smock for each client.
- Disinfect frequently-touched surfaces between appointments and, as always, provide fresh linens for every session.
- Request online payments via Square to minimize contact with cards, cash or check.
- Per OHA requirements, keep a client log to be shared if a COVID-19 case occurs.
- Assess clinic policies and procedures regularly for safety and updated guidelines as considerations from the OHA, CDC, and WHO adapt to best practices as we learn more about this novel virus.
- Please do not to schedule an appointment if you have had any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, body aches, runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, or difficulty breathing.
- Please wait to schedule an appointment if in the last 14 days you have been in close contact with a person who is suspected to have COVID-19 while that person was ill or been in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of COVID-19.
In preparation for your appointment, please kindly:
- Come into the clinic wearing a face mask, bandana or scarf and continue wearing it through the session. The purpose of the mask is to prevent droplet exchange from anyone you are close to.
- Please remain in your vehicle/outside and text when you arrive. You will be let in.
- Please wash your hands for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer provided upon entering the clinic.
- Please limit personal belongings to essential items only (keys, wallet, cell phone). All personal belongings will be placed in a sealed container during the session.
- Please bring your own water bottle and leave it in your car, if possible. We are not allowed to offer any beverages, including water before or after your appointment.
- Please be freshly showered and wearing clean clothes.
Post-care:
- Any client visiting the office must agree to contact us immediately in the case of a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis to protect the provider, other clients, and their families and friends.
